El Capitán on Main Street in Hobart is one of NW Indiana's most beloved spots — amazing seafood, killer Mexican food, strong drinks, and a warm, vibrant atmosphere. Every single Friday, PopUp Karaoke sets up shop and turns it into one of the best karaoke nights in the region.
Our setup fills the room with concert-quality sound and stage lighting, making every singer sound and look great. With 75,000+ songs spanning every genre — including an extensive Spanish-language catalog — there's something for everyone. El Capitán's diverse crowd brings enormous energy to these nights, especially when the late-night sets hit their stride around 10 PM.
The 4-hour block (8pm to midnight) means more songs, longer queues, and a night that genuinely feels like a show. Our host keeps the pacing tight, makes every singer feel like a star, and reads the room to keep energy high from the first song to the last call.
