What to Expect at El Capitán Karaoke Night
PopUp Karaoke hosts karaoke at El Capitán Seafood & Mexican Grill on Main Street in Hobart every Friday. It's a real show, not a bar machine in the corner: a professional host runs the night, the sound system is the same concert-quality setup we bring to weddings and corporate events, and the lyrics are on a big screen so everyone can follow along.
First-timers are welcome. The crowd cheers for everyone, the host keeps the queue moving, and there's no pressure to sing. Plenty of people come just to watch, grab dinner or a drink, and sing along from their seats.
How to Sign Up
- From your phone: tap Join the Queue and pick your song.
- In person: sign up with the host when you arrive.
- Plan ahead: search our 90,000+ songs before you go, or see what's new this month.
Age rules, food, and drinks are set by El Capitán. Please check with the venue before bringing guests under 21.
