Corporate Karaoke
The event your team actually talks about Monday morning. Veteran-owned mobile karaoke built for corporate settings — professional host, 75,000+ songs, no awkward silences.
Mobile Karaoke for Corporate Events
Most company events feel like company events. Karaoke changes that. When the VP of Finance attempts Bohemian Rhapsody in front of the whole department, something shifts — people laugh together, walls come down, and teams that email each other all day finally meet as people.
PopUp Karaoke runs corporate events across NW Indiana and Chicagoland — from casual Friday happy hours to formal holiday galas. We bring the professional host, the sound system, the lighting, and the song library. You bring the team.

Why Companies Book PopUp Karaoke
It actually works for team building. Karaoke removes hierarchy. When everyone can laugh at the same moment, people connect faster than any ropes course or workshop. We've seen it at every event.
Veteran-owned professionalism. We respond fast, confirm details, show up early, and execute without drama. For event coordinators who've dealt with no-show vendors — that matters.
Low risk, high return. No one leaves a karaoke night saying 'that was boring.' It's the kind of event people actually request again next year.

We Work in Any Corporate Venue
Real Event: Holiday Party, Merrillville — 120 Guests
Lake County, IN · Friday Evening · Banquet Hall
The situation: A logistics company in Merrillville wanted to do something different for their annual holiday party. Past years had been dinner-and-speeches. The HR coordinator wanted energy, participation, and something employees would actually talk about.
What we did: We ran a 3-hour hosted karaoke show with a team tournament in the first hour (4 departments, 3 songs each, crowd vote) followed by open-mic for the rest of the night. The CEO went last and sang "My Way" to a standing ovation.
"Best holiday party we've ever done. People who never talk to each other were singing duets. We already have it on the calendar for next year." — HR Coordinator, Logistics Company, Merrillville IN
Corporate Karaoke FAQ
How does karaoke work as a team building activity? +
Corporate karaoke removes hierarchy and gives everyone a shared moment. Our host manages the queue, encourages participation without putting anyone on the spot, and sets a pace that fits your group. Choose from casual open-mic, competitive team tournament, or a full hosted show — we adapt to your company culture.
What if some employees don't want to sing? +
Nobody has to sing. Karaoke works just as well as a spectator sport. Our host keeps everyone engaged whether they're on the mic or cheering from the crowd. We've found the most hesitant people often end up going up by the end of the night — but there's never pressure.
Can you handle 100+ employees? +
Yes — we've run events for 200+ guests. Our PA scales to large venues and our host is experienced at managing long queues and keeping large crowds engaged. Team tournament formats work especially well for bigger groups.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance? +
Yes — we can provide a COI for any venue that requires one. Just share the venue's insurance requirements when you book and we'll have everything ready before your event.
How early should we book for our holiday party? +
November–December books up fast — sometimes 6–8 weeks out. For other times of year, 2–3 weeks is usually enough. If you have a hard date, reach out as early as possible to lock it in.
Can we do a karaoke team competition? +
It's one of our most popular corporate formats. Departments go head-to-head in bracket-style rounds, our host acts as emcee and scorekeeper, and the crowd votes on winners. It adds friendly competition and gives quieter employees a reason to cheer loudly.
The Business Case for Karaoke Team Building
If you need to justify this to a budget approver, here's your ammunition.
Unlike escape rooms or ropes courses — karaoke scales from 10 to 200+, costs less per person, and doesn't require bussing anyone anywhere.
